Fantastic 4K TV!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent 4K tv! The picture quality is very good and it looks great in all lighting conditions. The webOS software is very snappy and easy to use. I prefer to use the built in software over an additional device like a Chromecast. It has plenty of settings you can tweak to your liking, but it also has default settings such as game mode, cinema mode, etc. The magic remote is also very cool and very fun and easy to use. I thought it was a gimmick at first but now I really enjoy using it. So far I love this TV and I am very happy with my purchase. Just a note, after some research on LGs website, I noticed that the 50 inch version has a VA panel instead of IPS, unlike all of the other screen sizes of the UM7300PUA. Keep this in mind as you will not get the same viewing angles as you would with an IPS. However, this TV looks excellent in the dark! Overall, I would definitely recommend this as an entry level 4K tv to anyone who needs a great tv on a modest budget.

Exceeded my expectations
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Due to the current state of affairs during this pandemic, I was not able to go into the store to see this TV in person. I made the decision after doing a little research in this price range and couldn’t be more happy that I made the decision to purchase this TV. I also bought an Xbox one X, which I also got a great deal on from Best Buy. The TV instantly recognized the Xbox and went into game mode and auto low latency! It really is the smartest TV I’ve ever had. I can stream all my Apple devices with airplay as well as get Siri to turn my tv on and off!! The picture of this set is off the charts beautiful!! So crystal clear and vibrant colors. LG always has the best natural colors in my opinion. If you are looking for a great TV at this price point...stop searching and buy this. 10/10 satisfied

So worth it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I almost got the cheaper version of this tv, i believe the 6900 series, but ended up paying only 50 bucks more for the 7300(bought it on black friday), and getting a better quality tv, with a SUPER easy and manageable interface/smart menu. The magic remote is beyond great, you can point it to the tv and have a cursor to navigate the tv with, and my all time favorite feature of the tv is the google assitant built in. I have a smart home so having google intertwined with the tv is just perfect. Theres a mic button on the remote that allows a wide variety of google commands to give to the tv. Not to mention the quality is absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this version of the LG UM series bc it has 3 hdmis, and google assistant (or alexa for you noobs out there) built in.

Great picture quality for 329$
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So let me explain how I end up keeping this tv. I was looking for a 55 inch tv for our bedroom, I end up buying samsung 55 6900 series, sound was great, design too, only issue I had it was that there were very faint white bars on each side of the screen, when I saw i I couldn’t unseen it... also it occurred that it does not support 5G wifi network which I use to stream all services and lack of Bluetooth for any sound bar connection. So I returned it after a week, and ordered online an android based hisense for about same price. For a couple of hours I had both tv and even played the same image to compare quality... what a difference... hisense colors were terrible, depth of black close to none, eventually I end up keeping the hisense for couple of days more only due to that I had very specific streaming up that I could hack to run on the tv from play store. Came back to best buy after a week and wanted to test LG 7 series, there was no large discount on the 55 inch model and I realized over the last two weeks that 50 inch will be big enough and decided to take it for 329 plus tax. Image quality is very very good, similar to samsung and it has old the quirks and features that I wanted (decided to by a streaming box for that android app). 7 series has a magic remote and better image. I also hang it on the wall using cheapest bracket 14.99- does its job. Picture attached shows samsung top and hisense bottom- black is blue etc.

Great Entry Level 4K tv!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is our first 4K TV with HDR. What a big Difference! The wifi on it is good and the speakers are alright. We have it hooked up to an LG soundbar though. The USB port on the side powers our Firestick 4k with no problem. The magic remote is a blessing in itself. We went from 3 remotes to only 1 with basically no effort. The remote worked right away with our Firestick, and for the soundbar all we did was changed 1 option in the sound settings.

Q: QuestionI recently bought the LG 50UM7300PUA. The picture, looking head on, is great, but if you sit little to the left or right the quality dims and fades. Another annoyance is any light source behind the TV (lights, windows, etc.) reflect off the screen.

Q: QuestionJust bought the LG 50" TV - 50UM73 at Best Buy. I already have a wall mount, but need the correct size mounting bolts that enter into the 4 screw holes in the back of TV. Can you tell me the length & diameter in inches or millimeters of those 4 bolts?
Asked by Bruce.
- A:Answer The 50UM7300 uses screw size M6 when mounting. The length of the bolt will depend on the mount used due to varying thickness of the mount. Please reach out to the manufacturer of your mount regarding this. ^CP

Q: QuestionI read that this 50-inch version VA rather than IPS, is this true? Is there a significant difference between LG's Super UHD and UHD? Thanks!
Asked by Pat.
- A:Answer I was comparing this to the LG SK8000 50-inch. I think VA is better for me considering I view often in the dark and never at an angle. But the SK does have SUHD. Not sure which is more beneficial for me.
